Graduated from the University of Hong Kong. Early experience was in manufacturing, including a stint with Motorola Semiconductors (HK) Limited before obtaining an MBA degree from the University of Sheffield. On returning to Hong Kong in 1981 got involved in banking and finance. Spent a few years with Banque National de Paris before moving over to Wilfred Chan Management Consultants in 1986 as a Director. Took over the business from Dr. Wilfred Chan in 2004, who has remained as Chairman of the new company.

Graduated from York University of Canada in Economics. Background primarily in business development, operations and training in the retail business. Has spent 15 years with Natuzzi S.P.A., a world leader in lifestyle upholstery listed on the NYSE, for the Asia Pacific market. Set up their regional office and formulated company and franchises' policies and office procedures. Was in charge of hiring and mapping the flow of their commercial departments. Has strong understanding and networks in Chinese Mainland and Asia Pacific countries. Joined PMA in 2018.

An accountant by training and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, HK Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) and the Taxation Institute of HK. Also holds an MBA degree from Warwick University, UK. Has been Director and Group Financial Controller of Wheelock Properties (HK) Ltd and Executive Director-Finance of Airport Authority HK. In professional service, a member of the Hospital Governing Committee of HK Children's Hospital, the Professional Accountants in Business Committee of the HKICPA and the Finance Committee of the Scout Association of HK. Also a Council Member and Deputy Chairman of the HKIoD and the Chairman of Tender Committee of the HK Examinations and Assessment Authority. Was appointed in June 2016 as a HK Accounting Advisor by the Ministry of Finance of The PRC and was re-appointed in July 2019. Has been a Director of PMA since 2024.
